Hello Amigos-
This is the last issue on which I am Managing Editor. Linda Foy will be taking over beginning with the January 2009 issue of Amigos y Vecinos.
Should you want to contact her to wish her well or offer to volunteer to help out.
We now accept ads: 1,000 pesos for a full-page ad, 500 for half-page ad, and 250 for a quarter page ad. The ad will be in black and white in the printed version,
but in color in the pdf version e-mailed to more than 450 people in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. People on this list have a specific interest in our part of the world, so it is an interested audience.
These ads work: If you don't believe me, believe Christy of A Broken Art Gallery and Mosaic Workshop, who wrote to me:
"That one ad has more than paid off and I want to let all of your other clients know" ADVERTISE IN AMIGOS DE BUCERIAS....IT PAYS OFF!!!!!" Advertising in Amigos y Vecinos works. And our website is visited by more and more people as the word is getting around. Visit us at www.amigosdebucerias.org

Hi All!-
This is a note of greeting & to introduce myself to those of you I have not met.
I am Linda Foy, past owner with my daughter Katya, of Bambú Café.
I will be taking over the position of Manager Editor of Amigos y Vecinos from Susan Rowe.
I sincerely hope that you will continue as contributors to this very good community publication! I will be arriving in Bucerias on October 30th & will work with Susan for the January/February edition, learning the ropes etc.
Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions or suggestions. In the meantime I am reading archived articles & getting ideas myself!
